We are seeking a responsible tenant or family who will enjoy and care for our home. This light-filled, 100-year-old, three-story house (4 bedrooms, 3 baths) is well-suited for visiting professors, medical residents, professionals, or families spending time in Pittsburgh. The home is fully furnished, with a completely equipped kitchen, a large living room, a garden, and everything needed for day-to-day living. Hardwood floors run throughout the first floor, which offers generous space for both living and working. On the first floor there is a side entrance with mud-room (including space for strollers), a large office room with desk for work or study, a spacious living room for relaxing or gathering, and a dining area with open-plan kitchen stocked with cookware and appliances. This floor also includes a powder room, an enclosed front porch, and a back porch leading into a private garden. The second floor has a master bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with a single bed, and a children’s bedroom with a child-sized bed. There are also two full bathrooms with tub/shower. The third floor features a spacious room with a queen bed, a working and reading area, and a powder room. Steps away from cafés, bookstores, and parks, the area combines lively streets with quiet, tree-lined blocks. It is walkable to universities, hospitals, and museums, with playgrounds and family-friendly amenities nearby, making it an ideal spot for work, study, and everyday living. Availability and terms: This home is ideal for an extended visit or as a comfortable starting base for a home search in the area. We are ideally looking for a tenant to rent the home for the full month of February. Extensions outside of February are best suited for a February stay plus additional weeks in January or March, to be negotiated. For rentals of at least one month, we offer a discount of $800.
