This is a lovely fully restored 1930s home aglow in burnished wood and lush wall colors. I've enhanced the era feel by adorning the walls with my collection of rare period Yiddish theater and movie posters and framed photos of my great uncle Tenen Holtz, a silent movie star. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of pots and pans, good knives and space and light to make a great meal. All the cups, plates and bowls -- plus some of the ceramic art adorning the walls -- comes from the renowned American potter Bill Campbell. The seasonal screen porch is yours to enjoy way into the cooler months while the deck adjacent to the upstairs bedroom serves the warmer months. The beds have firm mattresses, plenty of comfy easy chairs and plenty of room to stretch out throughout. All in all, a calming and uplifting space for your time in Madison.
