We recently bought this home, a dream of ours to have a place in Taos -- what an amazing place! Love the local small town feel but with big options for playing outside - hiking, mountain biking, river rafting/kayaking, flyfishing, etc. And wonderful restaurants, museums, shops. Love the local art and integration of pueblos. Homes like to be lived in. We'd love to find people looking to experience N. New Mexico life who will care for this gem of a place. The furnishings are all new, great living spaces, ample bedrooms with king beds, amazing kitchen (Wolf, Subzero, etc). House is situated at end of deadend, long gated driveway provides lots of privacy. Neighbors are great. Given all this, it's important for us to find the right people, and folks on sabbatical would be ideal. My wife is a life-long educator and we have a few properties that we regularly rent, so we understand how to be a good landlord and ensure our guests have wonderful stays. A little about us... I'm recently retired from environmental consulting, specifically technology services. Educated as an Industrial / Human Factors Engineer, I spent first part of career in high tech, then transitioned to focusing on helping environmental resource managers improve their operations and quantifying impact via custom data solutions & software. In 2008 I started a business and then sold it to a consultancy in 2021. After working for the acquiring firm for 3.5 years, despite loving every minute, ultimately decided life is short and the fun list is excitingly extensive! I'm lucky to be married to a wonderful woman, a first-grade teacher, for 30+ years. Two fantastic kids who are now out of the house. The members of our family are Bean, our mini Aussie, and our backyard chickens. We like to make our homes comfy and dialed-in. We built two eco-homes on the WA coast; we’re reasonably handy and enjoy house projects.
