We’re an American + German family working in architecture and design with a school-age child, and we’re familiar with having guests in our home. We’re looking for a warm, low-key household to use the top-floor two-bedroom suite while we’re here. (There is also an option to rent the full 4-BR home during specific periods.) The suite works well for two people or a small family for a short stay, and one of the bedrooms can easily function as an office for anyone working remotely. We’re around day-to-day, and the suite is reached through our shared townhouse stairs and hallway, but the top floor itself is private with the exception of a small office on the floor used 2x per week. Light cooking and meal prep is simple upstairs—the kitchenette has a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, and induction cooktop—and we can talk through use of the main kitchen if needed so things feel comfortable for everyone. We’re open to stays from one to four weeks (longer if it’s a good fit) and appreciate people who keep a steady, respectful home rhythm. Cleaning and laundry access are included, and we’re always happy to help with any small things that make settling in easier.
