I'm a photographer and artist who has lived in DC for 15 years. My work schedule changes day-to-day so there are times where I'll be gone all day at shoots and others when I'll work from home. I love my apartment and like to keep it clean and organized. Before moving into this space, I lived in a group house for about a decade, which means I'm very comfortable living with others and adaptable to different individuals' needs. The room for rent currently has a full sized bed frame and mattress as well as a desk and closet. It's the perfect room for someone who is looking for a temporary, short term room while they're in DC for a residency, fellowship, school program, etc. Previous tenants include a college professor who had a short term contract at Georgetown University, a PhD student who had a 3-month long fellowship at the World Bank over the summer, and most recently a UI/UX freelance designer. If you're communicative, easy going, and like to keep a clean and comfortable living space, this is the perfect spot for you! The apartment is spacious with lots of light during the day and tons of plants. I have a daybed in the living room which is also ideal for guests if you have friends or family visiting from out of town. There are one and a half bathrooms which also makes things a little easier with two people in the apartment.
