We offer a spacious, furnished private suite within our quiet, owner-occupied home, ideal for visiting academics, professionals, or graduate students seeking a peaceful and comfortable place to stay. Our home is a well-maintained ranch situated on nearly three acres in a calm, rural setting. It is designed for quiet, focused living in an environment well-suited for those working, studying, or simply seeking a restful retreat outside of busier urban areas. We are both educators with many years of experience and have hosted exchange students and guests from a variety of backgrounds. We value a home that is clean, organized, and respectful, and we aim to provide a welcoming, low-stress environment where tenants can feel comfortable and at ease. Shared amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, a basement fitness area (weights and treadmill), a front porch, and a furnished back patio during warmer months. The property also features a small vineyard and open outdoor space to enjoy. This space is best suited for one individual or a quiet couple who values cleanliness, communication, and a peaceful home environment. We are looking for tenants who are independent, responsible, and considerate of shared spaces. You are essentially renting half a house!
