Luxurious Gothic Bedroom in Historic 1938 Home

I am offering a room in my 1938 Irvington home. I have lived here 15 years. My family moved away so I have extra bedrooms ready to rent. I wanted to express my decorating skills so I set up the room to be a dark and spooky gothic bedroom. There is a velvet bed with new luxurious purple velvet bedding, a fur rug, taxidermy and victorian furniture. There is a small half bathroom upstairs to use and shower downstairs. I live in the finished basement and mostly just use the kitchen. The living room and dining room sit empty most days and are a great place for a tenant to enjoy. We also have a beautiful backyard that I've meticulously gardened in for years. Please note I do have three cats but I will be putting up a stair gate to keep them from coming into the upstairs. They are not allowed in rooms in the house, just the kitchen and hallway for cleanliness. My person interests are literature, music, history, cooking and French culture.
