We are an international family of academics and love to travel. We work often from home, where we enjoy the views on the green trees of a park in the midst of the urban jungle of Mexico City, and the comforting vibes of our urban community, situated at the heart of the Colonia Napoles: a safe and cozy, upper middle-class neighborhood, which invites for walks, coffee-breaks, lunch, dinner, shopping, theater and movies, all available at close walking distance. We live in a charming, sunny, 150 m2 apartment, with beautiful views both on the Parque Esparza (Napoles) and on Mexico City’s World Trade Center. It is in the upper-floor of a building constructed in the 1950's, has high ceilings, wooden floors and big windows, a large and nicely decorated living room, a well illuminated library and office space, a cozy dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, one full bathroom, one large and one middle size bedrooms (both with their own independent working spaces, and nice views on the park). Our home is filled with books and offers a perfect environment to read, think and write. Is has three independent work-spaces, which make it ideal for one person, for a couple or for a family of three or four. It provides a sanctuary to be creative and to work, as well as a base to discover Mexico City’s culture, restaurants, museums and shops, at near walking/bike/Metrobus/Uber ride distances. Centrally located at the heart of the Colonia Napoles, it is very well communicated: 20 minutes walk to La Condesa and La Roma (10 minutes on a bike); 4 minutes walk to the Metrobus on Insurgentes (direct 6 minutes ride to La Condesa and La Roma, 22 minutes ride to the UNAM); 15 minutes car-ride to the ITAM and the UNAM; 20 minutes car-ride to FLACSO and El Colegio de México; 25 minutes car-ride to the ITESM. Minimum stay of ten days (675 USD), with a monthly rate of 1'350 USD for one month and lower, negotiable rates for two and more months. The cleaning is included once a week (with the possibility of one additional day for a charge of 35 USD/cleaning). GAS, electricity, WIFI, phone (free calls to USA and Europe) and Netflix are included. Sheets, towels and bedding are provided. A bike is also available (20 USD/week; 35 USD/month).
