Light-filled, quiet and comfortable bedroom suite in Berkeley Hills 6 blocks from UC Berkeley. This is a furnished bedroom suite in our home consisting of a large bedroom with a queen-size bed, two large chest of drawers and a closet, a newly renovated bathroom with a shower/tub, and a sunroom/study looking out to the back garden, the Bay and San Francisco beyond. Tenant is welcome to use our kitchen and dining facilities as well as washer and dryer. Ideal for short-term (month-to-month) professors on sabbatical or visiting professors. One person only. No smokers, no pets. Rented as furnished only. The price is $1,900 rent plus $150 utilities for a total of $2,050 per month. One month's rent is required as a security/cleaning deposit, to be returned at the end of the stay if everything is clean and in order. The North Berkeley Hills is a delightful and safe neighborhood with easy access to campus or the gourmet ghetto for grocery shopping, cafes, restaurants, banking, post office and other amenities. Downtown Berkeley and BART station are easy walking distance. The Rose Garden and tennis courts are nearby.
