We are subletting our beloved and spacious 3-room apartment in Berlin-Lichtenberg from September 16, 2026 to March 16, 2027. As we will be away for work during this time, we are looking for friendly and reliable subtenants who will feel just as at home in our home as we do. The apartment will be rented out fully furnished and is ideal for anyone planning to live and/or work in Berlin for a few months. The apartment (2nd floor in a 5 floor building) is approximately 100 sqm large and is divided as follows (see pictures below): • Large, bright combined living room & kitchen • Bedroom • Children’s room / home office • Two bathrooms (bathtub, shower, washing machine) • Two balconies (one facing the street, one facing the courtyard) • Wood-burning stove • Fully furnished and equipped The building & surroundings: We live in a quiet and very friendly neighbourhood in Berlin-Lichtenberg, between Magdalenenstraße tube station ("U-Bahn", 4 mins walk) and Lichtenberg train station ("S-Bahn", 8 mins walk). The apartment is located on a cul-de-sac, so there is very little traffic. The location combines relaxed living with excellent connectivity: • 25 mins to Berlin Central Station (U5) • connection to all Berlin universities provided (closest: Humboldt-Universität; 25mins from door to door, direct connection via U5) • Shops, schools, cafés, and parks are all within walking distance • Friedrichshain (popular trendy district) reachable by tube, train, or about 10 minutes by bike Note: the personal items and you see in the photos (especially in the kid's room and living room), decorations and bits and bobs will be packed away before sublet.
