Our apartment is contemporary build that we have made to feel more homely. The best feature is the oversized kitchen which is well equipped with a gas cooktop, dishwasher, stone benchtops and dining bar, with good range of cookware. The living area has floorboards and a large Persian rug, one height adjustable standing desk and a couch/armchairs. Floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors are in both the living and bed room. It also features quiet ducted climate control air conditioning in both rooms, hi-speed Wi-Fi internet (500mbs NBN) and a 4K 50"TV with 4k Chromecast. There is a small study nook by the bedroom used for storage and a collection of books, as we prefer to have our desk by the window in the living area. The bedroom has full size mirrored wardrobes and a queen bed. The internal laundry has a washer and dryer. The building is a smaller block that has secure access and a north facing communal courtyard and lawn area. The lift is not required to access the apartment. The building is opposite a large park/oval and a few blocks from great swimming and gym facilities at Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre. Being close to so much transport and airport, there is some traffic noise during peak periods. It is conveniently located across road from bus stops, a few blocks form Green Square train station (two stops from the airport), and walking distance to the Waterloo Metro station. Untimed parking is available in neighbouring streets. Both UNSW (Paddington and Kensington campuses) and Sydney University (Camperdown) are less than 3km away. A bicycle is available on request. Within 2-3 blocks walk you will find a range of cafes, restaurants, grocers and libraries. It is also a short walk or bus ride to vibrant neighbourhoods, such as Redfern, Newtown, and Surry Hills. The eastern suburb beaches (Maroubra, Coogee) are a short drive away, and a surfboard/beach gear can be available on request.
