We are retired, & heading out to Europe for a 10-month adventure! We hope to share our home with others who will also love the area (Cap Hill) for the ideal balance between quiet respite at home, with easy access to all that Seattle (surrounding area) has to offer. We are close to UW, Seattle U, hospitals (Kaiser-Perm, Swedish, Harborview, Fred Hutch). The vibrant Pike/Pine corridor is walking distance. Downtown/waterfront a quick bus ride away. Also easy access to Lake WA, Arboretum, & Volunteer Park. The house is 3 blks from Miller Park which has a playground/pickleball/tennis courts & playing field (soccer/baseball). We are also 3 blks from wonderful restaurants/coffee shops/bakery/small grocery store. Major grocery stores (Safeway, Trader Joe's, PCC) are less than a mile. There are 2 weekly farmer's markets close to us. This neighborhood truly has it all, and is a beautiful residential area! There are 3+bedrooms - Upstairs there is a main bedroom w/king bed & bedroom w/twin. There is a full bath & laundry room upstairs. Downstairs has another bedroom w/queen bed & the TV room w/infrared sauna. There is also a 3/4 bath downstairs. The house has been well-maintained. We have solar power, hot water on-demand, & mini-splits in bedrooms, living/dining rooms to be as earth-friendly as possible. There is a lovely landscaped yard, and an enclosed vegetable/herb garden. We welcome most animals/pets upon approval. The house will be fully-furnished, including all that you need for cooking/meal prep. We will provide all linens & towels.
