We are offering our fully furnished apartment in Yeronga while we are on sabbatical overseas, from mid-July 2026 to early January 2027. The apartment provides a comfortable and quiet living environment, well suited for visiting academics, researchers, or professionals looking for a convenient base during a research stay or temporary relocation in Brisbane. I am based at UQ, and we would be happy to prioritise fellow academics or visiting colleagues. The apartment is a ground-floor unit (no sharing) with three bedrooms and two bathrooms (including one ensuite). It features a spacious living area, a fully equipped open kitchen and dining space, and a covered terrace with BBQ and a small garden. A laundry with washing machine and dryer is also available. One of the bedrooms is set up with a desk/workspace, making it suitable for remote work. The layout is well suited for a couple, colleagues, or a family (including families with young children), and can comfortably accommodate up to 4–5 occupants. The apartment is located in Yeronga, a green and quiet residential neighbourhood. It is a 3-minute walk to Yeronga train station (with South Bank and the CBD reachable in around 10 minutes), and approximately 15 minutes to The University of Queensland by bus or bike. QUT Gardens Point can be reached in 20–25 minutes (train or bike), and Griffith University (Nathan campus) is about a 15-minute drive. Shops, cafés, and supermarkets are all within walking distance. The apartment is available from 20 July 2026 (earliest) to 7 January 2027 (latest), with some flexibility within this period. We would ideally prefer a longer stay (around 4–5 months or more), but are happy to discuss arrangements depending on your situation. Rent can be discussed depending on the length of stay, number of occupants, and whether utilities (incl. internet) are included.
