EV charger, plenty of parking, wonderful neighbors, and tree lined streets. We are a retired couple. Carol was an attorney and judge for 35 years, and teaches immigration law/trial skills occasionally. Allan was a Business Representative & Executive Director with various unions after a career as a mental health provider. We live half time near our irresistible 3 grandkids (daughter's family) in Detroit. We've owned and loved our 1910 Edwardian Oakland CA home for over 40 years, and enjoy having others enjoy our home, back yard and wonderful neighborhood. Our Oakland home is an all electric, ecofriendly, solar powered, healthy home with tons of exercise/entertainment equipment (weights, bench, bike, yoga supplies, matted area, etc.), solid carbon water filter, huge smart TVs (one in Oakland/2 in Oak Park MI) fully equipped gourmet kitchen, and more. We also have endless amounts of kids games/books/art supplies, and a special lighted/curtained cubby (in the Oak Park home) to play in since we're primary caretakers of the kids when we're in the Detroit area. Allan represented hospital workers, including thousands of RNs while a union representative, and we look forward to providing a great temporary home for folks in Oakland (May-Nov.) and Oak Park (Nov-April)!
