We are offering our bright and spacious family apartment in central Salzburg while we are on sabbatical. The apartment is fully furnished and located on the 3rd floor of a residential building with lift access. It is a comfortable and well-equipped home, especially suitable for a family, a couple, or visiting academics looking for a temporary place to stay in Salzburg. The apartment has one bedroom, two children’s rooms, a small additional room, a bright open kitchen/living area, two bathrooms, and a separate toilet. One of the children’s rooms has an indoor climbing frame, which may be especially attractive for families with children. The apartment is lived-in and personal, but tidy and practical, with everything needed for everyday life. The location in the so called Andräviertel is one of its main advantages. The apartment is very central, yet comfortable and relatively quiet. The main station is about 10 minutes away on foot, Mirabellplatz about 8 minutes, and the Old Town, the Salzach river, shops, cafés, schools, playgrounds, and public transport connections are all within easy reach. Because of the central location and excellent public transport, a car is not needed. There is no private parking space, but bike storage is available, and bicycles may be available by arrangement. The house has a friendly and respectful atmosphere. Several neighbours have lived here for many years; they are approachable and helpful if questions arise, while also being discreet and respectful of privacy. The apartment is available from mid-August to the end of December 2026. Dates may be somewhat flexible by arrangement. Rent includes utilities, internet, heating, and electricity based on normal household use. We would appreciate mindful use of heating and electricity; any significant excess consumption would need to be covered separately.
