Venice, Italy beautiful one bedroom near university (Ca Foscari)

My husband and I stayed in Marina's apartment for 3 excellent months, from February 6-May 7 2018. Martina was a very reliable host from the beginning to the end, always promptly replied to emails and quickly resolved issues which arose. The apartment is located in a the delightful Santa Croce sestiere (district) of Venice and is an easy 7 minute walk from the train station, barely a 15 minute walk to the Rialto Market and bridge, and only a delightful 20 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. With both heating and air conditioning, it has a spacious living room and spacious bedroom; the well-equipped attractive kitchen has a french door to delightful, if small, balcony; the bathroom includes a washing machine; and, there is plenty of storage. It’s right on one of Venice’s canals - just a quaint bridge to Campo Zan Degola - in a quiet area of the Santa Croce with lovely restaurants, bars and local food markets and supermarkets all within 5 minute walking distance, including many pleasant non-crowded canal-side dining and drinking establishments and one of the top 10 Venice restaurants, La Zucca! Overall, we had a great stay there and can absolutely recommend this place!
