Location: Gordon is a lovely family-centred, safe and leafy suburb that is close enough to enjoy all that Sydney has to offer while still living like a local in a quiet walkable neighbourhood. 15-minute walk (2 mins drive or 4 min bus) to Gordon train station (direct line into Sydney: 30 min away) and village shops (including multiple restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, a full-size grocery store, post office, a full range of village stores, and a well-stocked library). 2 blocks from primary school, bus to local high school a block away, 10-minute walk to a neighbourhood park with playground and playing field. Very peaceful but still easily accessible to local and city services. We are 25-minute drive to downtown Sydney. Multiple amazing beaches and national parks within 30-minute drive of the house. Walkable to local shops and three major malls within 15-20 minute drive. A great area for families moving to Sydney. Both our last two guests loved it so much they moved into permanent houses less a km away.
