With one bedroom and a double living-room, my 50m² apartment is perfect for a couple or a person alone. At 10mn in metro from the Centre Pompidou, it offers an exceptional view on the Place de la Nation (12th arrondissement), as far as the Sacré-Coeur and the Quartier de la Défense. Just under the windows, a double crown of beautiful trees. It is calm, cool in summer, and full of various lights (North, South, East). The neighbourhood is quite pleasant and lively, with lots of shops and cafés around, a wonderful open air market twice a week at 200m, and the now famous "hotel Paradiso" at 100m. There are plenty of possibilities for public transportation (metro, bus, city train): the Bibliothèque nationale is at a few metro stations, as well as the Archives, the Marais, the Louvre... The apartment has been recently refurnished in its original style (end 19th century): wooden floors, fireplaces, paneling, trims... A perfect place for Paris lovers, provided they have good legs and lumbs: sixth floor, without lift. But believe me, it's an excellent exercise!
