Three terraces with panoramic view on the see, olive groves and the Mani mountains give it a unique situation. On a hillside, it is composed of a single room of 56m2 with beams, high ceiling, american kitchen, shower room. In the huge garden grow scattered olive trees, pine trees, eucalyptus trees, palm trees and a great amount of flowers. The inside is comfortable. The 3 terrasses offer shade at all times of the day. On the left terrace there is a nice marble table under a mulberry tree, ideal for peaceful writing unless you prefer to write inside.The house feels homy, charming, calm. SMART TV 45 inch, High speed WIFI 5G, electric grill, radio, speakers. The house is as well available for long periods from october till april at very special prices. Summers are hot and winters are mild. For spring and autumn, many pedestrian mountain walks. (brochures, guides and equipment possible) . Car not necessary, supermarket between house and beach. The house is situated right above the Kalogria beach (about 10' walk) and 18' walk from the village of Stoupa. There are a couple nice restaurants between the two and many in the village. The closest supermarket is at 4' by feet. Once arrived you don't need a car, yet you can rent one in the village Surroundings are beautiful. Stoupa is an ideal holiday place for couples (marvellous night sky) or families with children. It counts two sand beaches and a pebble beach ideal for snorkelling or diving. All are great for kids since the water is not deep at the littoral. Right close taverns with beautiful views offer typical food and fresh drinks. Kayaks, pedalos and even small motor boats can be rented to explore the littoral. Diving school. Tennis. Stoupa being small everything is easily accessible by feet, tavernes, shops, pharmacie, supermarket, doctor, hairdresser, car rentals. Not only cars but as well scooters and buggys rentals are available but you can do without (buses, taxi) Many possible excursions : Mystra, Olympia, Mycenae, Epidaurus, the caves of Dirou (see beneath). The whole area is known for its beauty. Close to Stoupa, charming other villages are to be discovered, Kardimili, Agios Nikolaos, Agios Dimitrios, Trachila. A bit further beautiful mountain villages. Everyone is unique. Many possible excursions (even by boat) : Mystras, the Florence of the Orient and its 200 byzantine churches, Mycenae, its treasores and its royal tombs discovered by Schlieman, Monemvasia, an old medieval town, the fabulous caves of Dirou to be discovered by canoe, Olympia, Methoni and its Venetian architecture, the Tower villages of Mani, REACHING OUR HOUSE Closest town : Kalamata From Athens you can go to Kalamata either by bus ( 25€) or by plane. The bus direction Aéropolis brings you then from Kalamata to Stoupa . (1hour/ 5€) . There is a bus station at 5' by feet from our house. The stop is called Kalogria. From this bus station to us, it is a little steep for 3'. You can as well take a taxi from the Kalamata Airport to us. It costs 70€. The taxi family is living close to us and knows our house well. In Athens, bus 93 takes you directly from the airport to the Peloponnese bus station, Terminal A 100 Kifissioustreet Tel:00 30 2105124910, www.ktel.org), from where buses leave for Kalamata every two hours - from 6am until 10pm. 3 of them have direct connection with the bus Kalamata/Aeropolis. You can as well take a taxi at the Athens airport to go to the Peloponnese bus station (10€) or directly to us (250€)
