Victorian condo in historic Berkeley neighborhood: Flexible dates 2026

I had an ideal experience staying in this house for two months the summer of 2018 with my wife and two young children. Susan kindly met me on the first day to give me the tour of the house and offered many wonderful suggestions for activities in the area. The house of course is not large, but the space worked well for the four of us. Perhaps it helped that we have the experience of living in a small Tokyo apartment. The location was absolutely perfect for my summer research in the area, and there are many great restaurants, stores and parks within walking distance. The Berkeley Marina and Adventure Playground are about a 20-minute walk from the house. Whole foods and the Tokyo Fish Market also about 20-minute walks. The house is in a very friendly neighborhood with the Apple Store right around the corner (my son attended free workshops there). The nearest Bart station is also about a 20-minute walk. The house is clean, nicely furnished and all appliances worked well. One of our duties was to water the plants, otherwise Susan does not currently have any pets. Susan was very accommodating and we stayed in touch via email when any questions arose. I highly recommend this housing option for anyone coming to the Bay Area. We immediately fell in love with the neighborhood and hope for opportunities to stay here again.
