House rental at Cohousing near UNC and Duke

This home is comfortable, clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen is great, especially if you enjoy cooking. We appreciated the various living spaces including the living room with a gas fireplace and the screened porch.

The home is conveniently located in Carrboro and near Chapel Hill. Shopping & parks are nearby. If you enjoy walking in the forests, this is the location for you!

Communication with the homeowners was easy. We highly recommend this home.

My husband and I had a delightful in-person visit with the homeowners at their beautiful home. The experience exceeded our expectations. At the end of the home tour we were so satisfied that we were ready to sign a contract.

But the tour wasn't over yet, we were invited to join our hosts at their community potluck which allowed us to experience the co-housing community first hand. Again, we were charmed by all the people and the organization. Later they lead us on a short walk through the immediate neighborhood. We can't say enough about our hosts. It was clear we found a match.

Within the next couple of days we were in frequent contact, working through all the required documents and a contract was signed. Looking forward to this rental!

Arturo's home provides a warm taste of South America in a cozy co-housing community surrounded by wooded trails, and a creek, but walking distance to town. The house is filled with comforting touches, such as a gas-buring fireplace, screened-in backbporch, and heated floors on the ground floor. Communication with Arturo (and his wife, Magda) was always smooth, efficient and respectful. Neighbors were friendly and helpful, and there is someone on-site to help with any unexpected issues. Overall experience was a 5+. I would returen in a heartbeat.

Our stay was terrific. The home is spacious, sunny, warm and bright and comfortable. We very much liked getting to know the co-housing community and the Carrboro area. We enjoyed hiking in the forest next door and biking in the nieghborhhood. The homeowners were easy to communicate with and responsive to our questions.

My family had the most perfect experience living at Pacifica in Carrboro. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable in summer when it was hot and then winter when it got cold. My two daughters aged 5 and 8 made friends in the Pacifica community straight away and the layout and extra play equipment that is offered meant that they could run around on their own without me having to worry. The Common House and Guest House were fabulous and our parents came and stayed and used these facilities. Magda and Arturo, the house owners, were so helpful and good to deal with.
