Beautifully furnished, above ground, one-bedroom garden suite with 9' ceilings. We are in a very central location half-way between Main Street and Commercial Drive, both of which are major areas for restaurants, bars, small and ethnic grocery stores, micro-breweries, bookshops, you name it. The downtown core, including Yaletown, BC Place Stadium (where FIFA games are being held), False Creek, Chinatown, and so much more is all within a 15-minute drive yet we are in a quiet neighbourhood populated with young families, exceptional schools, and a great community feel. In the immediate neighbourhood (i.e., a 5-10 minute walk), you can enjoy one of Vancouver's best French bakeries, Michelin-recognized Greek, Thai, French, Japanese, and Italian restaurants, a great pizzeria, an Eastern European deli, four great coffee shops, outstanding and interesting bars, grocery stores, a public library, banks, and so much more. Within an easy walk, you also have access to one of Vancouver's largest public parks (Queen Elizabeth) several lovely neighbourhood parks (one is only 2 blocks away), a large public fitness facility with pool, weight room, exercise rooms, etc., two farmers' markets, and so much more. It would be hard to find a neighbourhood in Vancouver that has more to offer in such close proximity. You do not need a car or public transit to access anything you might need for day-to-day living. The suite includes a good-sized kitchen fully-equipped with all of the major and smaller appliances you would likely need, washer and dryer, wi-fi, tv (streaming services including Apple TV and Amazon Prime but no cable), queen-sized bed, queen-sized pull-out sofa for guests (up to a 1 week stay unless arrangements are made otherwise), desk facing a window, and a gas fireplace. Outside, guests have their own barbeque, a bike shed to store up to two bikes, and a lovely patio on which to relax. The suite is always maintained at the highest level, so you do not need to worry about anything (including light bulbs). For those staying longer than one month, we come in and do a deep-clean for you and deal with any issues requiring maintenance that you may have not already flagged. Public transit is just a block away and can take you downtown in twenty minutes (10 minutes by car), to the University of British Columbia in approximately 35 minutes, and to the British Columbia Institute of Technology in about 25 minutes. Access to Simon Fraser University is easy with one bus to a Skytrain station that takes you out to Burnaby and then one bus that takes you up the hill to the University. Note that we require two references as well as an online Zoom chat from prospective tenants to ensure that we are the right fit with each other.

Comments: We are a quiet couple that is very conscientious about taking care of the suite. We are looking for tenants looking for a quiet place to unwind after their busy day and will enjoy the suite in a respectful manner.

Comments: Fraser Street is one block away and Main Street is an approximate 10-minute walk. Lovely neighbourhood park is two blocks away. Under normal traffic conditions, you can be at the seawall in False Creek or downtown in approximately 15 minutes by car.
