Retired Professor Seeking 1-Bedroom Sublet in Hyde Park, Summer 2026

Description

I am a retired nursing professor hoping to sublet a furnished one-bedroom apartment or condo in Hyde Park for the summer of 2026. I’m looking for a three-month stay between June 15 and September 15 so I can spend time close to my family. My permanent home is in Atlanta, where I stay active with the Emeriti Association at Georgia State University, Perimeter College. For my stay in Chicago, I’d love a secure, comfortable place with internet, air conditioning, and an in-unit washer and dryer. An elevator, or no more than two flights of stairs, would be ideal. Since I won’t have a car, being within walking distance of Hyde Park Produce Market, Whole Foods, or Trader Joe’s would be especially helpful. I do not have any pets.
