Description
My husband and I are looking for a ~5 month sublet June-October 2026 in Chicago, preferably northside. He is a professional yacht captain working with a client/boat in Belmont Harbor for the sailing season. He will be in Chicago full-time for the duration. I work in Advertising and my main client HQ is in Chicago so I will be coming periodically for business and then full time in Aug/Sept. We have a lovely 6 year old dog (labrador/amstaff mix) who will only be in Chicago for my longer trip in Aug/Sept. He is completely house broken, well trained and non-destructive. We are an older couple (50+) who own a home and understand the responsibility of subletting and respect the owners rules and concerns. We are happy to provide previous rental references upon request. My husband and I are both professionals, I'm a Consultant in advertising production, and my husband a professional Captain in the marine industry. We own a home north of Boston and spend time in different locations based on my husband's sailing engagements throughout the year. We have one well trained, beautiful dog named Bosun who loves to travel with us. We enjoy experiencing new places, walking/hiking, hunting for antiques, sailing and spending time on and in the water.
