I'm a PhD student in International Relations at the London School of Economics, relocating to London for long-term study and research. My work focuses on technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), exploring how digital tools are used by state actors in conflict and post-conflict settings to target and silence women and marginalized communities. I'm passionate about building safer digital spaces and contributing to global policy conversations on tech and human rights. Outside of my research, I’m an avid triathlete who enjoys running, cycling, and swimming. I also love reading, cooking, and exploring new cafes around the city. I have spent the last 4 years living in Washington DC and working at Georgetown University, but lived in London for 4 years before then. I am a Danish/American dual-citizen, and my family lives in Copenhagen. I'm seeking a long-term let in London—ideally a self-contained studio, but I’m also open to a respectful and quiet shared space. Key needs include: - Access to a full kitchen (I love to cook and am very tidy) - Somewhere to store a bike - A commute of 45 minutes or less to LSE I’m responsible, clean, and easygoing—looking for a place that feels like home during this next phase of my research and studies. I am on a PhD-student budget, so flexible on most things.

Hello! My name is Kristine, I am an incoming PhD student at the London School of Economics studying International Relations and focusing on the intersection of technology, gender and security. I've spent the last four years living in Washington DC and working at Georgetown University, but am excited to return to London, where I lived prior to the US. In my free time I enjoy being active (I am currently training for a triathlon), reading, and exploring cafes. I am looking for long-term housing (12+ months), pending a good fit between the landlord and myself of course. I am a respectful and communicative tenant; I care about the space I live in and will show your home the respect it deserves. I am a non-smoker, animal-lover, and generally chatty person - and very happy to lend a hand with things when you or your family are out of town. I am very happy to answer any questions!
