Retired chaplain seeks retreat near expectant daughter.

Dear Friend, I'm interested in your living space and I'm highly motivated to move to Berkeley! My youngest daughter and her husband are already there, and are expecting a baby. I am a 72-year-old, single, healthy, retired Lutheran pastor with an excellent credit rating (821). I am a graduate of Yale, with a long professional life behind me. I have just completed 13 and 1/2 years of service as a chaplain at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. I have one cat, a Maine Coon weighing 15 lb. She is mellow and is exclusively an indoor pet. I am an amateur Rose hybridizer interested in visiting the gardens of California. I envision a quiet, active existence in nature, studying my rose lineages, writing, and visiting my daughter and her husband in Berkeley. I will be in Berkeley July 5th through 21st, and prefer to start renting in August, 2025. I would be able to reside there for at least one year. Dates are flexible.
