Seeking cozy space for one educator plus rescue dog

I have been in education and the arts since graduating from undergrad at Indiana University. Since then, I have moved around, living in New York City, North Carolina, Connecticut, and Puerto Rico. I have worked in both public and private K-12 schools, and as an independent contractor. I lead creative writing workshops in the Amherst Writers and Artists method, and am a published poet. I am relocating in October 2024 to Chicago (from a small island off the coast of Puerto Rico) to work at a high school as a Special Education counselor. Food for thought: I am a big fan of win-win exchanges and creative agreements, and if there is anything you need help with, including pet care, I would love to discuss the possibility of a partial exchange. I have amazing references for both house and pet sitting, and adore animals. Spoiler alert: I do have an awesome little 14 lb dog, Rubini, who is part of my package. He is well-behaved, trained, and gets along with all animals.
