Looking for a pet-friendly house in or near Freiburg

I am a law and criminology professor from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, researching human rights and children's rights in particular. I will be a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law in Freiburg, and will come with my family to stay there for a year, starting at the beginning of October. We've already secured accommodation until January 15th. My sabbatical may be extended for a second year, until the end of September 2027. We are both academics (my husband has his PhD in Machine Learning) and we have two adult children. Our older son is 21 and wants to study music at Freiburg. Our younger daughter, 18, will also come with us to study. We have a dog and a cat who are good friends :) We have been long-term tenants and always had very good relationships with landlords. We hope to find a suitable house or a spacious apartment in or at the outskirts of Freiburg. We are all looking forward to coming to Germany and staying in beautiful Freiburg.
