Seeking an apartment in Manhattan/Brooklyn in September 2026

Hi! I’m Ryan, and I recently relocated to New York in December 2025. I’m currently staying in Cobble Hill in a wonderful apartment I found through SabbaticalHomes (happy to share references). Part of the arrangement is caring for a whole host of plants (I’d like to think of myself as having a green thumb!), as well as the mail. In May, I’ll be relocating to Greenpoint (May–Aug), also found on SabbaticalHomes (I can share those references as well). My goal has been to live and integrate into different parts of the city / Brooklyn, and I’m really enjoying doing that through this site. I’m now looking for something from 1 September 2026, ideally for 1 year or for Autumn/Winter (6–8 months), in Greenpoint, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, or Chelsea / West Village. A little bit more about me: I’m originally from Montreal, but I’ve been living in London (Clerkenwell) for the past 15 years. After so long there, I felt it was time for a change, and New York felt like the right adventure. I decided to look on SabbaticalHomes because I really appreciate the sense of community here.
