Seeking a peaceful, sun-filled, renovated space walkable to Pearl St. Mall

I’m a native Coloradan, having grown up in Arvada then traveling to Boulder many times each year for decades to visit my folks, brothers and friends who’d migrated there. Always thought I’d move there but my graduate education pursuits took me from San Diego (applied physiology) and Philadelphia (MBA) them to Boston (Brookline) where I raised my family and have lived for over 30 years. I officially retired in past May, am happily wrapping up the transition of my company, and am thrilled to be launching into this next phase of life with a year of travel. I adore Boulder, and though my folks are no longer alive, still have strong roots in the community including many friends from undergrad, a couple of my brothers and their families, and my adult children (22 and 24) who relocated to Boulder in the last few years. Though not an academic, I was often referred to as a professional student and still love the feel of a college town :>). After running wellness programs, working as a management consult and taking senior roles in health care and medical device companies I ended up wandering into a real estate career while pregnant and never turned back. I have great respect for the homes of others and can assure you a low-maintenance tenant who will treat you home as they would their own. I have a lot of local references as well as hundreds of 3rd party references online from my business that can provide a good sense of who I am, a light-hearted, responsible person with high integrity. A final note: I love the idea of home exchange. Mutuality of care in occupying one anothers’ properties is appealing. Plus knowing I will be traveling a lot in the coming years it feels like the right thing to do to have others use them while I am away. I just signed up with an exchange company my family has had good experience with but see that Sabbatical Homes also has a swap option.
