Next January (2026) I'm visiting New York for one month due to my PhD research. I'm actually a predoctoral researcher and teacher at Barcelona School of Architecture. I'm looking for a quiet place in New York area, where I can work comfortable and with eassy access to city center by public transport. My work will focus on consulting some archives in institutions and universities such as Columbia and MoMA. So I only need a good place to come back and relax when my day ends :). A very friendly guy here, just ask anything. Hope this platform can connect me with nice people. Also, just in case, I could have availability of one bedroom in my shared flat in Barcelona, for any visit or exchange.

About Me
Teacher and researcher at the UPC (Polytechnic University of Catalonia-Barcelona Tech), doing my PhD in History of Architecture. I have lived in Barcelona for more than 10 years, but I'm originally from northen Spain. My research topic is taking me to the United States in 2026, to consult several institutions archives in the New York area. Since prices are extremely high in the city for a spaniard :), i'm checking friendly alternatives like this one. Let's see what I can find here. Also, totally open to give some recommendations to scholars and academics coming to Barcelona.
