I'm Fio (Angela Lazarte Gonzales), a 12-year bilingual elementary school teacher and instructional leader from Jackson, Wyoming, coming to Glasgow for a six-month US-UK Commission–sponsored Teaching Research Award at the University of Glasgow (5 January–5 July 2026). I’m looking for a furnished one-bed apartment near the university (Hillhead/West End/Partick preferred) with reliable internet and a comfortable bed (queen/king preferred). As a visiting researcher and experienced educator, I’m tidy, respectful of neighbors, and committed to treating your home as my own. My work schedule is professional and daytime-focused; I’m a non-smoker and typically quiet in the evenings. I’ll provide a university affiliation letter, Grant Authorisation Form, and professional references upon request. I have stable funding from the Commission and can cover rent, deposit, and any required referencing fees on time. Ideally the apartment is furnished, well-maintained, and within a short walk or easy transit to the University of Glasgow.
