About Me
I am a freelance journalist and communications consultant. After leaving daily journalism, I worked at UC Davis Health, managing communications for the Cancer Center, MIND Institute and Alzheimer's Disease Center. I love adventure travel, and most recently spent a week hiking up to Choquequirao in Peru, a mind-boggling and muscle-bruising experience, followed by a week in the Amazon. I also bike, paddleboard and cross-country ski. I raised two kids, both professional singers, and live with my cat, Frida. I love to cook and entertain, see live music and plays as often as possible. I am a huge fan of my city and enjoy showing it off.
