About Me
I have a doctorate in criminology and taught for 36 years in a university social work program. During that period I developed a restorative justice and mediation course MSW students. I have continued that work facilitating restorative justice programs at two different state prisons in California. I am currently examining the impact of participating in restorative justice programs on incarcerated men and and woman. In addition I lead mediations in a community based mediation organization as well as for a local city's landlord-tenant rent board. I have traveled extensively for academic and pleasure. I was a a Visiting Scholar in Australia and and a Fulbright scholar in Rwanda,.
