Description
I am a retired professor and writer. My daughter attends graduate school in Berlin. I need a clean, nice place to work, ideally with enough space to do the tai chi form (which I've practiced for close to 40 years). My time will be spent working in the mornings, and in the afternoons walking and seeing my daughter, art, and artist and writer friends. I am a homeowner here in San Francisco and have decades of experience tending carefully to a house. I am quiet and respectful to neighbors. I am also a landlord so know first hand how to be an ideal tenant.

About Me
I teach in the MA in Visual and Critical Studies Program and in the MFA Program at California College of the Arts; and in the MFA in Writing Program at Mills College. I have been teaching for about 25 years and am a many times published writer of critical as well as other kinds of writing. I have lived in San Francisco for about 30 years. I went to graduate school at UC Santa Cruz, moved up to SF when I completed course work and have stayed ever since largely because of the thriving writing community.
