Description
Married couple transitioning to life in Paris after retiring from careers in Princeton USA. Man has a research position at the Sorbonne studying ocean and climate physics. Woman is a retired medical doctor doing online mentoring and book writing. We enjoy a quiet life with friends and family, with an easy walk to stores, restaurants, and outdoor markets. We have owned a home in Princeton since 2000 and will keep that home while in Paris, deciding on longer-term plans (retire in Europe or USA). We enjoy natural food cooking, restaurants, yoga, meditation, outdoor markets, travel, and a quiet neighborhood. A patio/garden/balcony is nice, but not a must. We are flexible with furnishing. We expect adult guests, so need two bedrooms. Ideally, we will also have an extra office space, but that could be the guest bedroom or living room.

Comments: I am currently living in Sorbonne Université housing until autumn 2026. I have a CNRS position until 2029 (retire afterward), and am looking for a 6-12 month rental before deciding if to buy.
