Description
Hello, I am happy to be returning home to BC for a one year locum at Burnaby General Hospital. I have lived in the Maritimes, Ontario and Yukon in both rural and urban locations. I grew up on a hobby farm, then had my own small farm for awhile and have a passion for gardening when not working. I have travelled for work and my education starting with a BSc in biology from UPEI, then to Laurentian University for BHSc, in midwifery. While working in Nova Scotia, I completed a Masters of Adult Education at St Francis Xavier University in Antigonish. I have been a full time registered midwife since 2008. I have also taught in the midwifery education program for Laurentian and Toronto Metropolitan University. While working as a midwife in Burnaby, I hope to do some sessional or contract teaching with the UBC MEP and mentor students in their clinical placements.

Hello, I am a registered midwife, educator, mama of two and beekeeper. I am coming to Burnaby for a work contract for a year at Burnaby General Hospital. I was born in New Westminster and lived my early years in Port Moody while my dad worked with Vancouver City Police. I have lived and worked in PEI, NS, ON and Iqaluit.
