Description
Hi there! My name is Catherine, and I will be a visiting research scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from October 2026 to April 2027. I am currently earning my PhD in astrobiology at the University of Colorado Boulder (ask me about life on Mars or old rocks on Earth!). I am looking for a short-term housing opportunity in the Livermore area that fits within my graduate student stipend budget. What I lack in financial resources, I make up for with being an exceptional house guest/house sitter. I am incredibly organized, clean/tidy, careful, and respectful. I am also a non-traditional graduate student (age 40), so I also prefer quiet nights in, as opposed to rowdy nights out. Along these lines, I prefer a living situation where I do not have roommates (pets excluded!). Above all, my goal is to leave your home better than I found it, and I'm happy to be a partner with you during my stay to keep the house as radiant as possible.
