Seeking furnished home in Lausanne area, Sept 2026 – Jan 2027

Hi! We are four close friends from Denmark, all in our mid-20s, doing an exchange semester at EPFL in Lausanne from September 2026 to and including January 2027. We're looking for a furnished private apartment or house that we can call home for those five months. A little about us: I'm Albert, a 24-year-old Danish MSc student in Sustainable Energy Systems at DTU (Technical University of Denmark), currently also working as a Junior Consultant at a Copenhagen-based consultancy called Implement Consulting Group. My three friends are fellow MSc students from DTU, all enrolled at EPFL for the autumn semester. We've known each other since childhood and are looking forward to sharing a home together in what we're sure will be a memorable few months in Switzerland. We're looking for a place that is fully furnished (beds, kitchen, living areas), ideally in Lausanne or the nearby area, Saint-Sulpice, Ecublens, Renens, or similar, with a reasonable commute to EPFL by public transport or on foot/bike. A single lease for the four of us is strongly preferred. Budget up to CHF 5,000/month all-inclusive. We are quiet, tidy, non-smoking, and genuinely respectful of other people's homes. We'll be busy with our studies during the week, and we want a warm, comfortable base to come home to. We're happy to provide references, university enrollment letters, and any other documentation that would give you confidence in us as tenants. We're also very happy to help with any house-sitting needs during our stay. Whether that's watering plants, tending to a garden, caring for a pet, collecting mail, or keeping an eye on things in general, we'd consider it part of being good guests rather than a burden. If you're heading away during our time in your home and need someone reliable to look after it, we'd be glad to help.
