Description
We are two empty nesters with 8 week work assignment in the Bay Area. We are most comfortable with Elmwood our home away from home for the last four years. We can pay rent and/or we can also offer up stays in our LA ADU near UCLA and/or our 2 bed/2 bath condo in Harlem. We have been avid home swappers for more than 12 years and also internationally. We love meeting new people. We work all day at home. One of us has an office in jack London square. We love Elmwood for its nearness to everything and its vibrant character and its greenery and peacefulness.

Comments: We both work from home so we need reliable WiFi, two bathrooms, and at least one bedroom. We love all animals and have cared for fish, rats, goats, guinea pigs, pigs and plants. We will treat your home very well as we are very tidy. References? Yes!

About Me
We are environmental consultants that can work remotely throughout the U.S. We have exchanged our home since 2010 in order to travel with our daughter during summers and vacations. Now that we are empty nesters, we are open to leasing our home to traveling professors. Kim graduated from Harvard and Columbia with both of us with college friends throughout the world. We love to travel and love to stay in homes rather than hotels. We leased our home to Palisades fire victims and have not lived in it since February 2025. It was an abrupt downsizing but now we love the flexibility of smaller spaces. We have a granny flat in the backyard that we would like to continue to use if possible. Or that could be part of the lease. We have another home in NYC and frequently stay in the Bay Area. We have traveled throughout the world and in the US exchanging our home with other traveling families. It has been wonderful. We treasure the relationships we have made over the years with repeat visitors or repeat stays.

Comments: We are from West LA area and seeking housing for inperson meetings. My wife has in person meetings over a 7 week period; we may also return Sept6 -Oct 15.
