I am a retired Canadian sociology professor - healthy, happily single, and a non-smoker - who moved to Antibes, France in 2022. My apartment owner has decided to sell and I don't wish to purchase the apartment as she has suggested. I prefer to rent, and although I am free to continue renting my seafront apartment until the lease expires in 2028, I have initiated the search for a new apartment or small house at this time because I wish to live in a more quiet area by or near the sea.
