Description
I'm planning to spend the next academic year as an exchange student at ENS-Paris. I will also be participating in seminars at Paris 1 university and EHESS, and visiting the French diplomatic archives in La Courneuve. I am hoping to live in or near the 5th arrondissement, but I am flexible as long as the apartment is near public transport links. I am coming alone, and I'm happy to live in a small space. I will mostly be working on my PhD dissertation, and I will not be having guests or parties.

About Me
I'm a PhD Candidate in the Department of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University, preparing a dissertation on the emergence of Arab nationalism and the making of Saudi Arabia during the interwar period (1919-1939). I grew up in Lausanne, Switzerland and Surrey, England, and have spent several years living in Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. I am currently based in Princeton, New Jersey in the United States.
